Apart from Calma beach in front of the studios, you can find in a close distance several famous beaches, such as the Kokkari beach, Lemonakia, Tsamadou and Tsabou. 10km away, you will find Vathy town, the main port, while in a distance of 23km you will meet the Samos airport. The port of Karlovassi is also located 22km away.

It is the island of the famous mathematician Pythagoras, the philosopher Epicurus and the astronomer Aristarchus (the first known individual to propose that the Earth revolves around the sun). According to the ancient Greek mythology, goddess Hera was also born in Samos.

Some of the most famous sights are the Tunnel of Eupalinus, the Cave of Pythagoras, the Castle of Lykourgos Logothetis, the Monastery of Panagia Spiliani, the Heraion Sanctuary and the Archaeological Museum. There are frequent direct charter flights to Samos International Airport “Aristarchus the Samian” from  European and worldwide destinations during the summer period either through Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” or through Thessaloniki International Airport “Macedonia”.

Samos has three ports, the main port of Vathi town, the port of Karlovasi and the port of Pythagorion. Another way to reach the island of Samos is through ferry boats with frequent daily connections between Samos and Athens in the port of Piraeus, especially during the summer season. Ferries are also available from most of the North Aegean islands and the Dodecanese, Alexandroupolis, Thessaloniki, as well as from the ports of Turkey, Kusadasi and Izmir.
